Save Neglected Animals
In times of crisis, AHS is always ready to step in and lend a helping hand. That's how we met
Ernie, a four-year-old miniature poodle mix. As you can see in his before shot, poor
Ernie was severely neglected with pounds of feces-filled dreadlocks
stuck to his body, severely limiting his movement. When we took him in,
we were unsure what type of dog was hidden under all of the filth, but
we knew it was certainly a sweet one. Ernie came from conditions where
he slept on piles of decaying trash and feces with over 150 other dogs
of all sizes instead of soft pillows or cool tile. He received little
human contact, limited food, and absolutely no vet care. Despite his
previous life, Ernie is extremely social and friendly, he was adopted out last week thanks to the care he was able to receive because of donors like you! Please donate below to help all of the dogs find homes like Ernie did!
